First step to becoming an online celebrity

Step 1: Setup a web site

Well that was easy! I would say I’m on my way to being a household name. Since this is the first post I suppose introductions are necessary. I’m John and I’m a currently a fourth year student at SLIIT (Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology). I also work at a great place called Proporta (www.proporta.com) as a Web /QA Admin. Almost worked there for a year now.

Enough about that. This site and blog is just an experiment I’m carrying out to see whether having a long term net presence is useful for me. Bought this place for 99 cents, which was such a steal. And I’m paying a friend for hosting (who is a hobo), and in case you want discounts for hosting let me know.

Anyway I’m going to end this post now because I cant believe how boring this post has become. This is stupid. I’m a funny guy! Why aren’t I funny online?! This sucks. Watch out for more of the same.

One more thing before I end this, my hobbies. I like reading. I mean anything and everythng. Preferably books and web comics but pretty much everything including signboards and menus (think about all that food that is just an order away!). Another thing I’m passionate about is gaming. I will not talk about it here but I will post a seperate topic on it when I feel like it. Other interests include tech, music, history, science and humour. Check out my Hi5 profile for a more detailed list. And now it really is over.

About John

I'm a xx year(can't be bothered to change it every year) old wannabe programmer living in Sri Lanka. The posts mostly contain stories of how I see the world. Usually skewed.

This was before my narcissistic renaissance. I was a naive fledgling, new born to the world of blogging.
